— We've decided to donate part of our earnings to children in poor mountain areas
In the world of agarwood, we often speak of the "value of time." From seedling to resin formation, a Qi-Nan high-oil tree takes years, even longer, of waiting. We believe that true preciousness is worth brewing with time.
But there is another kind of preciousness that also needs time and patience to nurture — the future of a child.
Today, we want to share a warm decision with every friend who supports us: From this day forward, a portion of our annual operating profits will be regularly donated to children in impoverished mountain areas, to improve their education, nutrition, and living conditions.
Why children in mountain areas?
In remote mountain areas not far from us, many children still have to trek over hills before dawn to get to school. Their classrooms may be simple, their lunches modest, but their eyes shine with the same thirst for knowledge.
We cannot do earth‑shaking deeds. But we can do one small thing: take a portion of what nature has gifted us and give it back to those who need it most.
Where does this donation come from?
Every piece of Qi-Nan agarwood and every agarwood product sold will automatically set aside a fixed percentage into the "Aromatic Future" public welfare fund. This percentage will not be passed on to consumers — it comes from our own profits. That means when you buy our products, you don't pay a penny more; but every choice you make invisibly helps a child far away.
We believe that doing good in business is not a marketing tactic, but a choice from the heart. Agarwood teaches us to "calm the mind," and after calmness comes "caring."
Your support makes a real difference
Some may say, “You sell agarwood — a luxury — so charity is just expected.”
We do not dodge that. Agarwood is indeed not a daily necessity, but “beauty” is never a synonym for extravagance. We hope that in this way, every piece of agarwood that leaves our hands carries a touch of warmth.
One day in the future, when you light a piece of Qi-Nan and smell that cool, sweet, ethereal fragrance, please remember — under the same sky, a child might be carrying a new backpack, sitting at a reinforced desk, and opening a brand‑new textbook.
That wisp of fragrance becomes a little warmer.
